- Om arrangementet
In today's rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, the need for collaboration across various sectors has become increasingly crucial. To maintain the current high-quality welfare system in Norway, it is imperative to create a collaborative ecosystem that fosters innovation and ensures sustainability in the healthcare industry. There is a need to harness the collective strengths and resources of both public and private sectors to address the complex challenges facing the Norwegian healthcare system and industry environment.
By promoting collaboration, Norway can create a fertile environment for innovation, where ideas are shared, resources are pooled, and expertise is leveraged to develop transformative solutions that benefit patients and society. Whether it's investing in research and development, improving healthcare infrastructure, or enhancing access to quality care, collaboration is the key to unlocking sustainable progress in the healthcare sector.
AmCham seeks to explore how enhanced collaboration can translate into tangible outcomes that align with Norway’s political ambitions. By engaging in open dialogue and fostering partnerships, Norway can chart a course towards a future where healthcare innovation thrives, and the health and well-being of its citizens are safeguarded.
Panel 1: Private Sector Solutions for Public Health Challenges
How can Norway utilize its advantages, such as its high-quality data, clean energy, and research and education, to create a competitive and innovative health industry? How can the government task the private health industry to solve ongoing and future issues in healthcare? How can the private sector help the public sector in achieving its political ambitions?
Panel 2: Collaboration for Healthcare: Strategies and Responsibilities
How can Norway foster a productive and competitive health industry that contributes to economic growth, social welfare, and public health? What are the roles and responsibilities of different sectors – such as finance, trade, health, education, and research – in supporting the development and implementation of effective policies and strategies? How can Norway leverage public procurement as a tool for innovation and quality improvement? How can Norway learn from other countries’ experiences and best practices?
