- Om arrangementet
Norges Rederiforbund and the US Embassy invites you to join us for a seminar and debate regarding the future of Freedom of navigation on our oceans.
The situation in the Red Sea has highlighted the importance of open sea-lanes accessible to all for the flow of global trade. 90 % of world trade is transported at sea. What does it mean for the future of global trade if these are threatened? Why does the United States Navy spend resources on securing the Freedom of navigation for all? And what responsibility does Norway as the world's fifth largest shipping nation have for maintaining open and accessible trade across the globe?
